Sprint Point Time Bonuses
Time bonuses are available to the first three people to cross the line each time the field goes through the KOM point. The number of sprints is dependent on the number of laps each category is doing, for example if your field only does one lap, then only one KOM sprint is up for grabs, if your field does three laps, there is three KOM sprints. Combined fields still have separate KOM points classifications and time bonuses for scoring purposes, but any cash or merch prizes are to the first across the line for the combined group.

2nd - 10 seconds
3rd - 5 seconds

1st - 3 seconds
2nd - 2 seconds
3rd - 1 second
Saturday KOM Location
Saturday's sprint point is located 12.7 miles into the course at the top of 3 smaller hills.

Cat 3/4, All Masters & Women's 1/2/3 - 2 passings 12.7mi & 28mi
Cat 1/2/3 - 3 passings 12.7mi, 28mi, 43mi
Sunday KOM Location
Sunday's sprint point is 20.7mi into the course at the top of two steep hills on FM228 on the back side of the course.

Cat 3/4, Masters 40+/50+, Women's 1/2/3 - 2 passings 20.7mi, 38mi

KOM/QOM Prizes
Prizes are available for the first rider to reach the KOM point each day. Cash prizes are for all categories except races including beginner level categories (Cat 4/5, Wom 4/5, Mas 35+ 4/5). Prizes are for first rider across the line in each combined category, for example in Masters 40+/50+ field only the first rider across the line will receive a prize, not the first rider from each age group.

Cash Pool Increase:
We will increase the KOM prize list cash for any field that reaches at least 50 registrants. After reaching 50, an additional $100 will be added. If anyone chooses to sponsor this competition and help amp up the cash amounts, we can increase these bonuses, please reach out to us. We'd love to do more...

Podiums & Prize Collection:
There will not be an individual podium ceremony for the KOM each day, but only a KOM podium will be held at the final podium presentation on Sunday. KOM podium is for the winner only, 2nd and 3rd need not attend. Winnings/prizes can be collected at registration.
